United Airlines – Rhapsody Remastered
Introducing “Rhapsody Remastered,” a social campaign that digs into United’s nearly 40-year history with “Rhapsody in Blue,” the iconic George Gershwin composition that has served as the brand’s signature soundtrack since 1980. We take United travelers on a multichannel journey with four musicians, each based in a different international city, and each tasked with creating a unique version of the Gershwin original inspired by that city. Campaign content includes the tracks themselves, now available on Spotify, as well as original music videos and interviews with the artists. Through our partnership with Instagram, we helped United Airlines become one of the first major brands to take advantage of Instagram’s new music stickers feature, allowing users to upload the songs from Spotify to use as a soundtrack in their IG Stories.
